    Hi,

I fitted a new belt (Pt No C00074218) to this machine 2 months ago
because the old one slips off sometimes when in use.

The customer says it has happened again.

I remember when fitting the belt that it seemed to go on very easily
rather than the very tight fit this type of belt usually is – I`m assuming it
    is a `stretch` type.

Is there another that fits that is smaller than the 1046MM 8H belt.

    Thanks

    Laurence

Thats the only one shown, not unknown for the wrong part to be in the bag, everyone I have had has been a tight refit.

Just checked on a new, gen one I have, on the belt it says 1051 H8 MAEL.

    On the packaging it does say…. Belt = 1046 – 1051H8 MAEL.

find out if its ever had a new tank fitted!

chances are if it had, it could have one of the 6 different types of pulleys!

    cheers

    Thanks for your responses.

I went to fit a new belt today and though it is exactly the same as the
belt I fitted earlier as per Partfinder, this one was much harder to pull
over the pulley than the previous one.

I wonder if the first belt I fitted had been taken off returned machines or
those that had failed testing then put back in stock – by Indesit Company
    I mean 😕

    Thanks again

    Laurence
