ParticipantHi all first post.
I have the above fridge freezer which is flashing code EA 😥
It also happened last week but cured it by turning off and on again. Does anyone know what the code means and what the fault is likely to be.
Any help appreciated.
Paul

I replaced the fan a few months ago so it’s all had a good clean.
The freezer is working, just seems no air being fed to the fridge. Ice blockage some where?
I’ve found a list of codes but nothing about the AE code.

It’s to do with the baffle between the fridge and freezer. It may be frozen, or the motor may be out of circuit, Either way, the computer has decided it isn’t working.

Cheers Penguin45.
It had a good defrosting so I thought. It’s making it’s usual noises so it sounds like the computer is shot?
Which motor are we talking about. I have the tools to test things, just not up to scratch on fridge freezers lol.

All fixed 8)
Just incase anyone else has the same problem. There’s a flap or valve up by the light unit in the fridge which the chilled air blows out of. This was stuck in one position. Cleaned it all up and all is working fine.

Hi paul
I’m having same problem I took cover off light then two screws the unit hangs down on the wires at the back there is a type of metal contact? Over a flap do you mean clean that up? It’s quite clean and I can’t see any moving parts
Cheers for your advice -
