Hello I have a problem with our Gw609 washer. The machine runs through the wash cycle ok,but after the machine has emptied the water and moves to the rinse mode the machine stops and all of the lights go out.I the have to wait about five or ten minutes to get power back on the control panel. If I manually advance the cycle the machine will spin but I dont think that it rinses.Any ideas or help that you can offer I appreciate.I am wondering if it is a fault in the pump which is cutting the power supply or if it is a fault somewhere else cutting the power supply. How can I check and isolate the problem? ❓

Pump is part of power supply line on these.

Sticky at top of forum will tell you how to run diagnostics.

Simple tip, when it cuts out, pull the plug and see how hot the pump is. Anything more than warm and you’ve gpt a problem.

Ok I ran the diagnostics and the code was on,off,on,off, off,on,off, off.Does that add up to code 37?I checked the pump temperature after the power cut off again and it was fairly warm to hot.Im not sure what to do from here.Penguin could you please tell me what this code means and what I should do next. Thanks in advance for your help.

00100101 = 37 – pump block error. Drop in water level not detected in the time allowed.

Your pump may be obstructed and labouring, causing it to shut down on the TOC. It’s a twist fit from underneath, so any foreign objects can be collected. Water out first………

If all clear, the pump may well be failing.
