Could someone please help, I dont have the manual and I have no idea what is wrong with my dishwasher. When I start the wash cycle after a few minutes it starts bleeping and the 1st, 3rd and 4th lights are flashing. When I open the door there is still some water at the bottom. My guess is either the motor is broken or it is having problems getting rid of the waste water.

This is a Haier dishwasher – we do not have a listing for the fault codes on these.

Applying a little logic, the first action on a dishwasher programme is to run the drain pump. As you say that there is water in the machine, it would be reasonable to assume that there is some sort of blockage. Can you hear the drain pump running? If you can, check the sink coupling where the hose joins on. If you can’t hear it running or there is a faint humming noise, the pump itself will be blocked.

You will have to drag the machine out for access from underneath; be warned that this is a very awkward appliance to work on – none of the metalwork is finished, so be careful.

    Power off, of course.

Thats a E3 fault, machine is unable to drain. Probably a blocked drain pump. Its an absolute nightmare to get to it and I would advise a sevice call from someone who knows about these machines. Try the repairs@ service below. All you can check yourself is that the drain hose is not squashed behind the machine(not likeley unless the machine has been moved recently) or the drain outlet hose that fits onto your plumbing under your sink (or wherever) is not blocked.
