    Hi,

I’ve been out to a servis washer M3025W and the heater had blown. Not scuffed but has a hole in it. Its the version that goes into the tank at the bottom and bends.
I didnt take the model number with me at first because i thought it would just be a normal servis bent heater. Went back to fit it and it seems to catch the drum very slightly as its going spinning on anything over 900 rpm. The bearings seem fine, cant get any play in the drum. I tried another heater but the same thing happens when it gets up to speed.

I’ve tried to order the part genuinely incase there is a slight difference in production but neither masterparts or qualtex or homepares list the model no.

If anybody could please help me with a model number it would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Nick

524005201 is the one with the thermofuse……..

You sure the front to back drum joint isn’t opening under centripetal force?

    Hi,
Thanks for your help guys, been away for a few days.
I’ve just ordered the heater from the part number youve given me Tim and will go back in a few days to try it out.
Chris i did think this myself, about the heater bracket becoming a bit looser and the heater bouncing. I had this a few years ago, but not on this model. I’ll try the correct heater and take it from there.

    Thanks again

    Nick
