My Lavamat 74640 is not completing the program. Initially it was not starting at all and a look at the drain pump trap showed sludge and tissues. Prior to this the motor is arcing at spin speeds.
I tried a short cycle that should take 48 mins and it went fine until halting at 32 mins. There it stayed with no error codes. The start/pause led flashes and when left the program seems to go back to the start, ie showing a duration of 48 mins.
I have changed brushes before on a previous AEG and am well aware of the issues of living in a hard water area. Does it look like a brush problem causing the electronics to shut down to protect itself?

If the motor is finally out of circuit, the programme will abort after a number of attempts to run the motor.

Thanks for the quick reply. So do you think the only error indication – the start/pause led flashing indicates a motor problem?
And, do you have a part number for the motor brush on the shop website.
