Does anyone know if the TOC on these Askoll pumps* is a ‘one shot’ type or thermal resetting?
*i.e. The Qualtex PMP243 and the Zanussi 1249206218.

Good question Martin and one no one seems to know. I would take a guess at one shot. Tried to set one off once, (dont ask why!)held it in a vice for about 3 hours and the thing was barely warm.
certainly the zanussi pump, as fitted on the washer dryer has a self resetting toc
that always explains the reason they dont dry, yet everything seems to work.. its because they cut out during dry and come back on when theyre cold, so usually it works on your visit (e30 isnt uncommon in diagnostics!), but the pump runs and empties fine so its its best to change the pump, or at least the base!
