    afternoon folks,
i have a zanussi z50 dishwasher that permanently trips out the electric. as soon as the on button is pressed. the fuse in the plug is ok and does not blow. just the rcb on the main fuse box. other appliances including the washing machine work ok off the socket the dishwasher normally uses and does not trip. so the fault is in the dishwasher. but i can not understand why the fuse doesn’t blow? :rolls: any ideas please. if it needs an engineer, i am in the pe25 area any contacts?

    many thanks

Fuses only blow if the power drawn exceeds the value of the fuse, say 13 amps. Thats why your fuse has not blown.
