    I fitted a VT9 thermostat to the fridge evaporator of one of these yesterday and now the compressor isn’t cutting out. The original ‘stat had a black spot printed on it.

    Does anybody know if this evaporator runs warmer than normal so the VT9 won’t cut out like some Candy fridge-freezer evaporators did? Should I have fitted a RAN29 like those Candys needed or do I have to fit the gen Hotpoint ‘stat?

    Can’t fit a VT9 to this one. You’ll need a genuine HPT2600413. No equiv available. £16.77 fron Qualtex. Gordy
