Got some probs with this one, I’m getting a constant 240v at the dispenser solenoid, so the original is now out to lunch ,also small amount of water in the tray underneath but not enough to set off the anti-flood device! I carn’t seem to see where its leaking from! Anybody had ‘owt like this before, oh I it seems to be a Hotpoint or the like in disguise.
Cheers Chris…..
Assuming its a Hotpoint BF72, its a Smeg underneath and you already need a new pcb and dispenser so it will be a £200+ job all done. Usual leak points on those is where the air break joins the water softner in the rh side panel.
Dont know…tell them its a Smeg underneath and how much it will cost them to replace and all the hassle involved, I usually get the job on this sort of stuff.
Hmm ok for you folks down south but folks round these parts don’t like to part with huge wads of cash, sooner sling it out & get new, hows that for logic! Crazy I know…. 😕 😕
