    Hi all

    AEG B1180-1-M
    PNC 944 181 727
    Type 91AHB01 GA
    S No 34690065

Been to this oven today, and the cooling fan is not running. A quick look around and found that the small blue wire from the fan goes to a little blue capsul type thingymebob 😆 which I presume is a cut out of some description. Anyway this little capsul thing is burnt, and this seems to be the problem that the cooling fan is not working

1st question what is that blue thing for??

    2nd question is the part no 89 9661 92 67-61/1.

    Re: AEG B1180-1-M oven

Yes that is the correct part no. 😀

To me that device acts more as a thermal cut-in , switching the cooling fan on when it detects a set rise in temperature. When they go faulty , cooling fan doesn’t run and oven overheats tripping the thermal cut off until it cools down naturally.

Very common fault , order a couple of them and keep one for future use 😉

    BTW

WHY do Parts Centre pump up the price of things???

Official retail price on AEG website=£23.25+PP+VAT

    P Center retail price= £29.25+PP+VAT

Please bear in mind These are retail prices NOT the price we pay.

    ?????
