Apparently these are the door springs….

    Yeah, small aren’t they 😕

So Goatboy senior is refusing to go and pull the machine out (tis a big job) because he doesn’t believe that they hold the door up.

    Anybody?

The last De Dietrich that i put door springs on took two of us to do the job…one to stretch the springs up to the top mounting, and the other to stop the whole machine lifting off the floor under the strain 😆
In fact it felt like one of the most dangerous jobs i’d undertaken 😕

    They do look….well….kinda small 😆

Is this proof that size matters? 😉

    Hi Goaty

The last De Dietrich that i replaced the door springs on was no where near anything like youve got.

They was a lenght of nylon with a plastic moulded to each end that then connectled to a spring approx 6″ then onto a open jubilee clip which was secured at the top.

Nasty horrible job and the peices of nylon was approx £80 aas well if i remember rightly.
