Hi everyone,
I just want some advice about a problem im having with my Hoover WA1100 washer dryer.
Today i loaded it with a full drum of washing/clothes but left it on the economy mode and i think i may have over filled it with washing and it seemed to be going through the cycles normally then i heard it making some strange noises whilst it was in the washing cycle and then when i looked i saw smoke coming from around the back of the machine and when i opened the door to remove the washing there was smoke coming out of the drum/inside too.
Can someone explain to me what happened here? Is it a simple case of me making a mistake and over loading the machine? Or is it more complex than that?
Could you also tell me what is the most likely cause of the problem? And if it can be fixed cheaply and easily? And what sort of costs involved in a repair of this type?
