Had the first ever failure of one of these pulleys this morning, a right pain to get at. I did manage to remove the pulley and bracket without taking the drum and motor cowling out, but you do need smallish hands 😉 .
I didn’t have a 1702973 pulley & bracket but I found that the pulley from the old Creda X245677 jockey pulley & arm was a perfect fit. 8)Worth knowing if you don’t have the correct one.
Still a damn awful design. 👿
