Been to a few of these recently with the same fault, fridge too warm freezer okay, when I take of the back cover in the freezer it is choked with ice which indicates there is a problem with defrost cycle when I manually turn defrost timer to a defrost the heaters come on okay, is this a problem with the defrost clock or the two thermal fuses in the freezer one wired through the live side and one wired through the neutral side, I have also had this problem with various Zanussi f/fs which work the same way , I was wondering if there is even a mod for the defrost heater as this seems to be a problem with a few different models.

If the heater comes on when you advance the timer to the defrost mode then i always just melt ice and replace timer.
    Solves problem everytime. 😉
