    Went to the above m/c ,heater checks out fine & no broken leads in the door, couldn’t get m/c out at the mo, due to kitchen fitters bodge :rolls: :rolls: . So am I looking at a stat job [if so which one] or PCB? I’m only asking as its the first of these I’ve come across & I’m hoping some of you guys might know a bit about these m/cs. Oh I the other numbers are IP21 & s/n 060613277 if it’s any help…

    If you remove the plinth you can just squeeze your hand in underneath the heater terminals on the left and the stat is just behind it clipped to the underside of the drum. Pull the stat down in the clip slightly and slide it out. The wiring is just long enough to get the stat forward to unplug it.
    I have had several of these stats fail. They have 2 sets of terminals and one pair will go O/C. The stat is readily available.
