Hi,
I’ve got a busted Firenzi DW930/1 dishwasher (a Whirlpool in disguise) – the circulating pump started activating only sporadically, and now doesn’t at all. But it wasn’t the pump: with careful multimetering, I’ve traced it back to the IC on the PCB, and is beyond simple repair. A replacement PCB is £146 all-in – only a little short of a brand new dishwasher from Argos!
Is there any way to get a second hand PCB, e.g. from a dishwasher that was beyond economic repair for a different reason? Does anyone know how to get one, or if you’re in the trade, even have one around? I’m even prepared to desolder the IC from a board that is broken in a different way, and fit it to mine.
The PCB can also be found in a Caple DI414 or Whirlpool APDW/2/2
Any help gratefully accepted! Thx.
