Has any one come across the problem with their Whirlpool DWF B10 not using the tablet detergent during wash? We purchased the dishwasher from Ikea about 2 years ago. It has been fine up until now. We have cleaned the filters and done a finish wash cycle. There are no warning lights on but yet after most washes the detergent tablet is left in the bottom. Any ideas??

If the drawer is open at the end of the program and a partially used tablet is in the bottom below the drawer the usual culprit is the dishwasher smelly lemon deodorizers. A few people hang these on the front of the top basket and it does not allow the dispenser to open fully until you open the door at the end of the wash???

The other problem is that customers seem to think that a dishwasher is for washing dish’s..

    BUT…

The plates have to be of certain sizes else they stop the top spray arm from going round and if they are put into the tray thats in front of the dispensor they also stop the dispensor from opening during the wash but when the door is opened the flap opens wide and the tablet just drops to the bottom of the dishwasher.

There is a certain Korean manufacturer that had to change the bottom trays to stop customers putting plates in the front of the tray..

Not mentioning any names but LG comes to mind..
