Someone left a small telescopic brolly in the drier(!!!) and the drum came out of line as the brolly tangled around the back bearing. I removed what was left and repositioned the drum, but now the drier runs for maybe 10 secs and anticrease/end light comes on as if the prog. has finished.
Front temp. sensor reads about 10k, rear temp. limiter reads same as new one, and no power seems to go to heater. Any ideas? thanks, Simon.

    Hi
Are the carbon sensors touching the drum after re-alignment? and do they have continuity back to PCB ?
Also, are you testing the appliance with a normal damp load? because if you aren’t then it will only run for a very short period as it thinks the load is dry.
There is also an over temp stat on top of heater which is re-settable.
    Check your email aswell 😉

Greg, much obliged for your help.
Have tested with a full damp load; have checked reset stat. Noticed a carbon stick by the back bearing and it was pretty gnarled from the earlier damage. Is that one involved in sensing or just anti static? The carbon on the top of the drum seemed fine. Simon.
