Alternator valve has failed. This is a device which switches the water between the upper and lower spray rotors.
I can find no reference to your machine, so it is either very new, so under warranty; or you have posted the model number incorrectly. The 12nc number would be more useful (the one that starts with 8), then we could identify any parts required.
Definitely got a problem here – the machine will not come up on the UK Technical information disc and your posting address is in Europe. I can only suggest that you contact your local Whirlpool agent for part numbers and information.
thank you.. so you thinks its the alternato valve – the local engineers are ‘dorks’ to say the least – I have been without the machine for 6 weeks- they have visited 4 times..

The technical information says it’s the alternaotr valve. This could mean that the valve has failed electrically; the wiring and connectors could be at fault; or possibly even the computer board. The valve and the wiring can be tested for continuity with an electrical test meter.
