Have a bosch motor fitted with sprung loaded motor brushes, have taken motor apart to test field coils ok, but there is a small electronic part with 3 legs connected to coils..I cannot get any reading with meter, not sure what this part is, perhaps a thermal fuse!!! can anyone please let me know. and should there be a circuit reading between them.

You won’t….it’s the Tacho pick up! The thermal fuse is the small chrome rectangle (hard wired) on the brush housing nearby! 😉
