    Help!!! PLEASE
    I have been called to a miele T430 dryer. Symptoms are that after around 15 mins or so the door opens itself.

    initially diagnosed a blocked vent – cleared it ….but fault is still there! I have thoroughly checked for blockages but without success.

    I am strugling now & would REALLY APRECIATE any thoughts.

    Are the holes in the back of the drum clear?

    Yes they are…..just checked now. An addition to the saga so far is that having tried the machine a few times and the door keep popping open, it then refuses to start at all!!

    It is almost as if it has overheated or something because having left it for a while it will now start again and run for 15mins before the door pops open again arrggghhh!!!!!!

    Hi again,
    make sure all air ways are clear and there is strong air comming out of vent.
    Make sure fan is not broken.
    check sensors on top of drum are not warn andclicking on 10mm drum screws,
    change 2 tag thermostat on heating element as this is not regulating correctly and dryer is over heating.

    Thanks for that!…..I am even more confused now ‘cos having removed the base to check again for blockages – nothing. Tried again and it has now completed two succesful dry cycles!

    I will go back and check out all the points you mention. THANKS A MILLION! 😀
