I need main thermal cut out for above oven and having done a little searching I found part no. 818730550 on the smeg spares website.
Nice picture and rated at 190C , just the job , I thought 😀 .On ordering it from Connect I noticed the picture showed a different TOC but assumed it was simply the wrong photo.I now have the part in front of me and it is as per the picture on Connect website and it’s described as ‘cooling fan thermostat’ although it does come in the original smeg packaging with 818730550 printed on it 😕 .
Is this the correct TOC and a direct replacement for the original Campini TOC?

That’s what I get for 818730550……The other one listed is 818731036 “tangential stat”; presumably for the fan? Can’t find a piccie though.

Yes Chris that picture is the stat I’m after rated at 190C but if you order 818730550 from Connect it’s a different stat although it comes in original Smeg packaging with genuine part no. printed on it.
I was hoping someone might be able to confirm that the part they’ve sent is a direct replacement for the campini stat in the above picture.

If its got that part number on the packet then I am sure it is the one you want, often the mounting differs on these. This one should obviously be normally closed while the tangetal stat is normally open. I think connect have just got the wrong description.
