    Hi there, the door locking spring of my dishwasher recently snapped so i ordered a spare (new/whole locking unit) and fitted it.
    Since fitting the dishwasher is unresponsive and will not start cycle.

    After pressing the cycle start button i am getting the single tone as i should prior to cycle start but then after a second getting a further double tone and unresponsiveness.
    No LED’s are flashing warning, everything seems normal, just won’t start cycle.

    Tried holding down cycle button to re-set and unpowering m/c but no joy.

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    I would definitely check the wiring back to the PCB. Something has almost cetainly been disturbed or displaced. Too much of a coincedence to be anything else. That said, with Indesit, anything is possible…….

    Power off whilst investigating, please.
