ParticipantHi,
Struggling to find a site that recommends the best slimline dishwashers. Seems to be a lot of experienced engineers/users on this forum, hoping you can offer me some advice!
I was going to get a Bosch SRS 45L02GB, seems to be their best slimline. But are there quieter / better washer / better drier machines I should go for?
Anything up to ~£400 would be fine.
Thanks!! Hope it’s ok posting this here, doesn’t seem to be a forum for this kind of question..

Hi Dave
This model is the latest model from Bosch. Looking at the spec on the Bosch website it`s a cracking machine good spec, efficency, functions and knowing how good Bosch are, I don`t think you will find a better appliance TBH.

Thanks!
My 2 concerns with the Bosch were
1) the reputed poor drying you get with the Bosch technique of relying on natural drying, and
2) compared to some of the full sized machines, this slimline Bosch’s 49db is pretty noisy! The Full sized AEG I was going to buy (before I discovered I didn’t have the space in my new place!) was just 41db.I have a lounge-diner, so a quiet dishwasher would be great.
But if you think these concerns are just an inevitable consequence of having to get a slimline rather than full size, then I’ll go for the Bosch anyway 🙂

Never had a problem with our Bosch on the drying mode at all, very efficient.UK_dave wrote:

49db is by today`s standard very quiet. The only noise we ever hear is the occasional “whoosh” of water when it`s on the wash part of the cycle.UK_dave wrote:

The AEG slimline is 49db as well. Go for the Bosch it comes with the two year warranty as well 😉

You mean you don’t get the clunk as the dispenser opens and the tablet drops? 🙂
I had the bosch dishwasher (600mm) for a few years now and I haven’t had any problems with drying or any concern about the level of noise.
If I had to buy another tomorrow I wouldn’t have any problem choosing another Bosch.
