Hotpoint BWM12 washing machine – aprox 3 years old, bearings well gone.
First time on one of these, looking for advice as to what parts required – do the bearings come with the tub, does the drum shaft come seperatly or is this one of these welded tanks I hear about????
Cost no problem, its an insurance job with a £300 auth limit – I guess it wont be over that

😯 It is still under five year parts guarantee, £90 for Hotpoint to repair.
Different sizes of bearings and shafts used on these, 22mm or 26 mm shaft. Also different spiders, heavy cast iron or light alloy. One drum assembly is over £133 plus vat list price.
