    Hotpoint Dishwashers solenoid valve safety device activating. This happens maybe once or twice a month at the most.
    All I do is turn off the water, remove inlet hose switch machine on switch it off again, connect hose turn water back on.
    Have fitted a new solenoid but it still does it any suggestions please.
    This is on my own machine.

    Check the sump hose between metering tank and sump if it is gunged up it will, cause the safety shut off to activate.

    If it’s got a plastic sump hose; Fit the replacement rubber one. Also clean the comb pump filter in sump as i find slow draining can also cause this.

    The rubber ones can get gunged up as well over a period of time.
