    😥 As it says above. Normally, one rotates the oven knob to 9 and pushes the ignite button, the burner starts low and after a few seconds flairs up, i.e to heat the oven, at this point one sets the gas mark as required and waits for the flare to die down once the oven is up to temp. Now all that happen is the burners starts low and stays low, it will not flair up. Is the thermostat stuffed or is it something else?

    If the low flame of the burner is going ALL the way across, then I would say that the FSD (a safety device) or gas tap are at fault.
    As this is a gas appliance you will of course need a suitably qualified engineer to address this for you.
