    I have a one year old Hoover HNU271AFFAL that keeps getting the fan so frosted up it stops & all my food spoils. When i manually defrost it it works fine again for two months.
    Is this “frost free” technology just not that well developed yet? I had an old LEC conventuonal freezer for 22 years before this one & apart from a defrost every 3 years or so, it never stopped once! I only dumped it cos the drawers were broken.
    Should I just cut my losses & get rid of this piece of crap & buy another convetional freezer or is there something I can do to it?
    Any replies would be helpful!

    no, you could change the defrost sensor, that would probably cure it

    not really a job for you, u really need to get an engineer out
