I have an intermittent fault with my dishwasher (Bosch SGS5002GB), which is approaching 9 years old. After I switch it on, it does not fill with water and does not advance past the start of the program. After a few days it seems to recover and starts working again. It looks like a problem with the pump. It has just broken down again and I am wondering if it worth getting an engineer out to look at it, or if I should just junk it and buy a new one.
I would welcome any advice.
It’s worth just having it checked out Deborah 😉
It may just need the internal pipework cleaning out, maybe the baseplate has got flooded even? Worth a stay of execution at least. For local engineer just click on the link below. 🙂
