ParticipantWhile pricing up a 481228268051 feeler probe for a job I noticed that Beko list a very similar looking part (1884400100) at nearly £20 cheaper than the WP equivalent. Having ordered both I have just checked the resistance of both parts at room temp and the readings are 42.5 and 43.2 respectively. Do you think its worth trying the Beko part, As the WP one is well overpriced?

I’d love to find a cheaper version of this part. Can you try a resistance comparison check at a few different temperatures?

Could not find a thermometer so measured in my hot coffee both 22, Then Luke warm water 34-35 than again at room temp 47- 48. If i have time today I will try the Beko one on the machine, Thats if I have diagnosed the fault to be the NTC correctly.

Called back today and the Beko part worked fine on the 30c wash but while testing on a 50c wash the infamous Askol pump died on me 👿 Quoted for a new motor and as the NTC is now £20 cheaper I got the job. Not doing the job for 2 weeks as she’s off to Dubai and the Maldives tomorrow. Alright for some.

I have had one of these on test in my own Whirlpool dishwasher and have checked the wash temperatures and they are spot on.
Dimensions are fractionally different which makes it a tight fit but at £25 cheaper than the Whirlpool I’ll be using the Beko from now on 😀Steve

What is the part number for this NTC instead of whirlpool one and in what respect are dimensions different?
