Could anyone confirm my diagnosis, please?

This beasty starts to fill – p/sw trips, machine continues to fill until the flood protection diaphragm on the base is activated and the drain pump comes in. Several seconds later, the fill valve will cut off.

Pressure switch works (and trips during fill) and I have continuity to the board and the power switch. I am assuming that the board is at fault – using the p/sw activation as a timing mark for specific programme fill and then not doing it.

At £110, I’d like to get this one right!

    Thanks,
    Chris.

They fill, trip p/s, then the wash pump cuts in and the p/s drops out, continues to fill until p/s cuts in again? Have you checked the wash pump and start cap Chris? If they’re ok then triac on the pcb would be my bet too 😉

Oh, yes – I’ve got circulation.

    Thanks, Clive.

In that case it’s the one with the timed top-up…which apparently isn’t on this one 😆

    Yep, pcb
