smelly fridge

    small larder fridge ( imported ) about 14 months old has a fishy smell inside works perfectly tests ok is as clean as a whistle and has been cleaned inside ond out with anti bacterial spray drain and container also spotless no punctures in insulation any ideas?

    You could try & I emphasise CLEAN cat litter in a bowl – Worked for me in my Bosch days with a FF that had died while a cust had shellfish in it – after a month it stank !!!

    The worst thing I ever smelt in a fridge was 12 month old mince beef. The fridge had not worked for 3 months, it was hanging, and having worked on farms full time for six years I am used to smells but this was something else. 😯

    The one place that often gets overlooked in cleaning is inside the lower lip of the door seal, milk spilt into here can really wiff.

    generally find if you look in gasket at bottom of fridge spillages milk etc gather in there i go to quite a few where the cust has cleaned it turn the seal back and show them the gunk.
