sure this one has been answered many times, machine wont advance past P0,and so cycle wont start, normally the programmes are 1 to 6,possibly not related but i’ll tell you anyway if you press the clock button,22 shows and you get one beep.

This may help, before this problem occured the door was getting harder to open after a cycle,to the point when it actually jammed shut,I managed to get it open since then i’ve had this problem.

many thanks, please help Mrs is doing me head in.

    Hi Moggy,

Someone will help you, I don’t know the machine, but can you please keep it to one thread for one problem as it only confuses people and all too often leads to no more of a response?

    Thanks.

    K.

Re: DIPLOMAT ADP 8252 PROBLEM,WONT ADVANCE TO PROGRAMME SELE

If the door catch is in the closed position, you cannot programme the machine.

It’s a SMEG machine – there have been issues with the control panel failing and allowing the latch mechanism to move about. The latch itself may be faulty.

spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to supply any spares required.

Power off before removing the panel.
