ParticipantHello
I can get the power light to come on but no other lights will come on whatsoever.
At the end of the previous cycle when I opened the door I noticed that water had been left sat in the machine.
From searching on this forum a lot of the problems seem to relate to 3-in-1 tablets (which I do use) but the symptoms of the tray underneath being flooded seem to be to have 3 lights flashing, which I don’t.
Does anyone know if my problem is likely to be the bottom tray having flooded? If not does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?
Also if the problem is that the bottom tray is flooded then is emptying it likely to remedy the situation.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

PhilNot likely, the base is probably flooded and it will have blown the main the circuit board 😕
Try the link below for an engineer if you really want to spend money on this cheaply made chinese machine.

Ok, thanks for the quick response Clive. It looks like a new dishwasher is the better choice.
As a point of interest have you any idea how much getting it fixed would likely cost (ball park only obviously) assuming the main circuit board is blown?
Thanks again for your help.August 19, 2007 at 7:02 pm #225155clivejameson

The parts are quite cheap…the circuit board is around the 20 quid mark IIRC, plus the engineer of course, but you get what you pay for and many of us in the trade are reluctant to guarantee anything on these machines i’m afraid 😕

Thanks again Clive. I’m thinking a new dishwasher is the way to go.

That sounds sensible 😆
If you have a good search through the forums there’s oodles of advice on a replacement, the first decision is really to set the highest budget you can and that will usually dictate the make.
Also, look really for the base model in the range of the chosen manufacturer (given a decent make, the base model will do a cracking job of cleaning), then only look up the model range if there are any specific features you’d like such as delay timer (for running on economy7 at night) etc….the top of the range will have features and programs you will rarely use but if money is no object and you like toys then you might consider those. 😆
