Hi can anyone help I have an old Philips single built in oven model no AKG303/WH01 and I cant find the user manual for it. I dont have a clue how to use it or what the symbols mean. I have tried philips website but they dont seem to have it. I know I could get rid of it and get a new one but I am reluctant to do that as it was my mums and I would like to keep it. Thanks for any help anyone can give me

Philips became Whirlpool about 15 years ago (or more – the oldies will probably tell you 😀 ) so I’m afraid the chances of sourcing a user book are between zero and minus infinitey………
If you could list off the symbols on the knobs, we might be able to offer some pointers?

My mum has this model and I have also been looking for the manual as I cannot understand the dial.
There are several symbols showing what I presume are the different oven settings; oven heat from top/oven heat from top and bottom/oven with grill etc. but then after the symbols are the temperature settings.What I cannot understand is, how can you go on to select the temperature you want, if the temp settings are on the same dial which selects the oven setting? ie. you go to the oven setting, but then you have to move the dial on to the temperature you want, so how does it then know what oven setting you want?
I know this is a long-shot as this is quite old but if you do still have the manual I would be grateful if you could help.
