Participanthotpoint FDW60. has fault code3+5 flashing, 1st call checked components all ok. ordered new PCB. fitted and set it away on progs, worked for 3 washes, then fault occurred again. went back and same code on m/c. components could not fault, ordered a new board, fitted and d/washer started ok done all functions, filled, washed and drained. reset to start of another prog, then it filled, stopped, and drained out immediatley, with the above fault code again. can anyone put me in the right direction for this fault?. checked all the componets for the 3+5 fault code.p.s. their is 2 lines for this f/code.

What about the small, high pressure sensor, the little doofer that is in the outlet hose from the circulation pump, two different ones, not interchangeable.

checked the switch its making a circuit ok, and checked to see if it is operating, thats ok. but the motor did go on 1st time and it washed when i put the pcb in, on its initialising the programme. now it just fills to level then drains, with the 3+5 fault code. wont do anything else.

You may have checked already, slight earth leaks on the heater can chuck up strange fault codes. Had one give me a fill fault code; It just filled then drained as yours does. New heater fittted and no fill fault.

Don’t know 🙁
I worked with a Merloni eng (now free) who told me to change the heater on any odd faults with this range as it faults on fill. The fact they chuck in parts U/G until the fault clears may have something to do with it. There must be a few Merlonians on here? help.
