got neff s5457 dishwasher when put on the eco wash, the red light under the plinth comes on, the timer sets on the panel. when you shut the door it starts as normal then stops at 47 mins left on the timer. the soap block stays in the soap dispencer and the machine sounds like it still running. but you can leave it for a couple of hours and it still makes the same noise. the only way to stop it is to reset the programes. it does the same on all progarmes. i have check the fillters and the impeller and all the pipes they are all ok. if any one can help it would be great.

It sounds like the base under the machine has flooded and the flood protection system has been activated. You’ll have to drag it out and pull the plug, then tip it over to one side – towels down to catch the water. Then it’s just a case of finding the leak………….. 😀
