ParticipantJust started to hear these loud cracks like an arcing from the dishwasher on a cycle. Sounds like it is coming from the front rather than the back and loud enough to make you jump. Maybe one every 5 minutes.
Has done a complete wash previously with about a dozen of the cracks (that I heard from the other room) and has now cracked a few times whilst I have been in the kitchen and tripped out the main breaker. It’s dark now, so I am a bit reluctant to turn it back on and let it finish it’s cycle in case it does it again (very likely).
Obviously electrical, but any ideas what it might be so I can get it fixed?
Thanks.

Hi
It sounds like the mains suppressor is breaking down.
With the power off, you will need to locate it and change it. On this one I think it is front left behind the lower plinth.
Part is available from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if required 😀Greg

Wow, fast!
I will take a look under the cover and let you know/order the part.
I need some bits for the rs21dcns Samsung too (defrost heater/water tank) can you supply those as well?

KeymasterHi Rob,
Yeah the RS21 bits are not an issue, if you mail Dave he can sort them all out for you no probs.

813410094 is the suppressor part number if required.

Well it seems to be the surpressor/tri capacitor (grey cap on the lower LHS behind the lower panel).
It is spilt down the side and the top has been blown off.
Can’t see that part number Penguin45, just 70092 and the values of the caps; 0.1uF x2 and 0.0027uF x2 written on it.
If this is the part then I will order.
Thanks

Yup, values are correct. P/no is not printed on the unit itself.
