Hi all, can anyone give a reason(s) for the ice build up on the evaporator panel at the rear of my fridge? Over time the ice will build up to an inch or more. The thermostat has been changed twice with no effect and is clipped direct to the base of the evap panel. Could this be a lack of gas in the unit and is it cost effective to have this repaired.Model no. RL78P(approx 4yrs old).
Can anyone suggest a good quality replacement, unit will be under counter and would like a 600mm width unit, are Lec any good?

many thanks for any help. 🙁

If its short of gas it will cause this, watch out for the compressor (motor) running all the time. Or if you have a gap in the door seal you will get the same problem. LEC no
