    Hi,

    Just moved into a new house, the previos owners have left the manuals for everything, including the one for the double oven from Ariston. The manual says TC-720 Build-Under electric Double oven and Grill. The problem is, the oven has been cleaned and scrubbed so diligiently over the years that pretty much ALL the markings on the control knobs have disappeared. Its impossible to figure out whats what from just reading the manual. I searched thru the net, and the only picture of the oven I have which showed any amount of detail I could find is at:

    However, even this isn’t in enough detail to see the control knobs. Does anyone have this particular oven they woundn’t mind taking a pic of the 4 control knobs and sharing with me?.

    You need to buy a set of knobs. However, there are six versions, in three different colours. Please check the actual rating plate of the appliance for the full model number and preferably the serial number as well.

    Thanks for the reply. Its not the knobs that are the problem, its their corresponding functions, Top Heat/Base Heat/Fan Oven etc, which were printed/embossed on the silver panelling behind the knobs that have been erased, hence not possible to know what setting, or even which oven (top or main oven) is being controlled. The serial and model numbers are:

    Mod. Number: 208587059
    Serial Number: 21122842

    RIZ EXACTLY THE SAME HERE. 🙁 😯 😕 :rolls: THE IMAGES IN THE PANEL HAS BEEN SCUBBER OFF BY PREVIOUS OWNER OF THE HOUSE. NO WAY I CAN FIND WHAT IS FOR WHAT. MANUAL USELESS.
    KINDLY SOMEONE SEND US A PHOTO.

    You both need a new control panel – I can’t identify a part number with the information available to me, so drop an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk with the full model numbers and serial numbers for pricing and ordering.

    The odds on someone having a piccie of the panel are somewhat slim…….

    When you get the new ones, the panel should be cleaned with a damp cloth only – any abrasive will wipe the print clean off.
