    hi,

I’ve got a hotpoint aquarius wf101 thats twelve months and one week old!!!
my misses was doing a wash when there was a load bang and the machine started to vibrate really badly and tried leaving the kitchen!!!, she noticed a bit of water coming from the door as well so she switched it off. Now when we try to switch it back on it just sits there and after about 30 seconds the power light flashes rapidly and the mini load button starts to flash, you can also hear the pump kick in even though the machine is empty. the pump then stays on for about five mins and the machine stops.

Anyone out there know what error the mini load light flashing indicates?

Any help would be greatfully recieved!!
    😀
    Thanks.

Technically, this is failure of the motor triac on the computer board. It can be caused by a failed motor, a failed PCB or wiring chafed through against the cabinet, internally. A blockage can overload the motor as it attempts to ramp into spin, causing or exacerbating any of the above.

Being a Hotpoint, it has a 5 year parts guarantee, so you can pay your £90 and get all your bits for free.

Power off, if you’re going to have a look yourself.

Sorry about the odd week – I’m sure there is a little office somewhere in Peterborough that plans these things.

    Regards,
    Penguin45.
