    Gidday from downunder
    Could someone please advise me on the following problem with a Fisher Paykel washing machine.
    When the machine starts to fill the cold water valve opens then closes in pulsing manner for several seconds then tries again. This open/close of the cold water valve gradually reduces to a vibration sound (valve open/close very quickly) then alls OK until more water is required. The machine gives no beeps or error codes during the entire wash cycle.
    Following the sticky on error code retrieval returns error code 9.

    Any help will be much appreciated.

    Technically, 9 is the size error – however, pulsing cold water valve is more likely to be the valve itself failing.
