    Hi

I have a ADP8332 approx 18 months old. It has a fault, the ‘Hotline’ suggest a OWP fault i think and want £90.00 + parts for an engineer.
Basically the on lights flases 11 times indicating this fault they say.
I have checked all the obvious and all seem clear and ok, when it starts it will start to drain then let water in and then as soon as it goes to ‘fire’ up the thing stops and bleeps forever. I am wondering wethr to pay an engineer or buy another one – ant help would be appriciated.
    Regards
    Nigel.

OWI is not fitted to your appliance – it has a diaphragm switch behind the black plastic grid in the sump. It has probably become gummed up with old grease and fat, preventing operation. You can try attacking it in situ with a toothbrush and very hot water, but you may have to remove it to clean it properly. It’s a twist fit from underneath.

    Power off, of course.
