Oh dear, I have a difficult situation.
We had a problem with a “squeaking sound” for an Indesit WG924. Not being able to fix it ourselves, we called out a local repairman. He came out and “repaired” the fault, and the squeaking sound was gone when he was here. That was on Thursday. Since then, we’ve put the machine through a single maintenance wash. But today when we go to use the machine, the “squeak” is back and far worse than it was before.
What can we expect here/ Clearly we’re going to contact the repairman, but we feel that we shouldn’t have to pay for the machine to be repaired “from scratch” since the previous repair clearly didn’t work.
