    hi

    I am currently having a new kitchen installed the sink is being moved and because of the distance of the waste to the drain they are having to use 2″ pipe. I am being given a Diplomat ADP3300 single fan oven however if it is too deep they will not be able to move my sink as the 2″ pipe will impede the oven fitting correctly.

    I need to know the dimensions of the oven in particular the depth, I cannot find them anywhere on the internet.

    I have contacted MFI who appear to be the only stockists who tell me they cannot find the dimentions and dont have any in stock they have told me the oven housing is 575 in depth does this mean the oven is that deep or would it be less?

    any help anyone could give would be very much apprieciated I need to know before 8am tomorrow 11/09/2007

    Hi Simon,

    It’s MFI’s own brand, that’s why you can’t find specifics anywhere.

    I’d reckon though that you’ll be struggling to get the oven fully back I’m afraid. 😕

    What makes you think that ?

    If the oven is only 51 or 54 deep they can do it because they will alter he housing and there will be enough room behind any deeper and they wont be able to do it.

    I think it’s crazy MFI cant give me the dimensions of one of their own products!

    any one know depth for certain?

    The reason I say that is from experience, most of them will go back 55-57cm minimum usually.

    Now think a moment, hot oven… electricity… plastic pipe with water in it… it’s not really a good idea don’t you think? 😉

    Point taken on the heat Vs plastic scenario, however I have seen ovens that are only 510 deep and with some heat shield around the pipe hey presto…………………………..I just need to know the dimensions of the oven in question!

    When I do find out I will post here and put everyone out of their misery.. lol

    Hmm, let me put it this way, we fit ovens with heat resistant cable, so the cable doesn’t melt through and short, it’s not cheap but we don’t get any hassle. 😉
