This machine (W698) won’t release door or start prog. Tested for power to door lock with yellow door release held. No sign of power to lock apart from permanent current through two of three terminals.
If PCB behind switch is faulty, would that create similar symptoms to a door lock fault, ie. no start?
Can hear timer crunching as normal.Many thanks, Simon.

Sure can. Push Button switch bank PCB can get Corroded Tracks/terminals
Have Successfully Cleaned & repaired tracks on Numerous occasions on this

Thanks for that. Have tried cleaning it up but on this occasion it doesn’t seem to be the problem… Will find that useful in future though. Simon. 😀

Check the main pcb behind the machine front for dry joints.

You can verify (this assemble)- first of all if main PCB is receiving 220V and either signal from door release button… (look after wiring diagram inside machine and you will indentify also one relay on main PCB which can cause to not open the door)… but no start???
