hello people,
ariston dishwasher model L64X aus fills and drains at the same time.the fill cycle starts and than it starts to drain and the drain pump keeps on going.
removed the outlet hose to check and found that the fill cycle is also on as bucket kept on filling.any suggestions as to what could be causing it.

Unfortunately as you are not exactly round the corner 😉 your Australian model number does not match our UK model identification software.
One possibility if you are using 3 in 1, 4 in 1 or even 5 in 1 tablets is that the machine has overflowed into the base. With the machine unplugged, place a few towels on the floor and tilt the machine to one side. If water does run out then allow it to dry and try again. If the fault comes back within one or two cycles then you may have an internal leak.It is better to use separate detergent, salt and rinse aid.

If Water In base Could be Due a leak Or Over Detergent useage
Jim Is Spot On About Tablets
They cause more problems than what they’re worth.
If you do use remember not to fill rinse aid container & cut tablets in Halve
