    On fridges connected through an RCD. I personally don’t think they should be as the inductive load on start up can cause “nuisance tripping”.

    However I may be totally wrong 😯 .

    I’m sure someone will confirm or rubbish my thoughts 😀 .

    A different reason for not running a freezer through a RCD as I can state from experience is when I went on holiday and left some lights on time switches to make the house look occupied.
    Bulb went pop and blew out the ring main,freezer defrosted. :eeek:
    Freezer now on separate fused supply with a plug in safety device just in case
