    Hi Guys,

    customer has this american f/f, problem is with the ice dispenser not dispensing ice, it is making ice. Customer says that LED display on door front usually goes out when you close the door but is not going out now. Is this anything to do with ice dispenser not operating ie freezer thinks door is still open? Hope someone can help. 😕

    peel the door seal back when the doors closed, and see if the light is on

    unusual, cos normally, it would melt the ice

    more likely to be a pcb fault in fairness

    Hi Guys,

    went to see this F/F today. Dispenser only dispensing water and display is on all the time. Is the problem likely to be with the door switch or one of the modules? Door switch does switch light off when closed. 😕

    Hi Guys,

    just to update you on this appliance. 😀 Have solved the problem – I removed hinge cover on top of door, disconnected the plug between main module and door display module for 30 secs then reconnected. Freezer is dispensing ice and crushed ice ok again. Can only assume something caused main module to lock up. 8)
